This episode helps kick off the month of March celebrating Tri Delta’s 20-year partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We talk with Tri Delta sister and three-time cancer survivor Hillary Husband about her journey that started at St. Jude.
Hillary Husband was just 14 when she started her fight against cancer. Starting at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, she was introduced to their mission to “Find Cures. Save Children.” But she also got a glimpse of Tri Delta, our passion for serving others and our efforts toward changing the way the world treats and defeats childhood cancer. Later, Hillary joined our sisterhood and now sees how a new generation of collegiate women support and celebrate our wonderful partnership with St. Jude!
Join us in spreading the awareness about the mission of St. Jude and the impact Tri Delta is having on this cause during Tri Delta St. Jude Month, by following or engaging with #TriDelta4StJude throughout March! We encourage you to help kids who were like Hillary. Because of St. Jude she beat cancer and is now giving back to our sisterhood and bringing kindness to this world. No child should be denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay, help us defeat childhood cancer and make a donation today!
